Reflexology
Reflexology is believed to have been used around 5,000 years ago in China and Egypt. It is based on a theory that the body is divided into energy zones, which run horizontally and vertically, ending at the hands and feet as reflex points. These organs correspond to organs and areas in the body within the same zones. Pressure is applied to these points which stimulates circulation and relaxation and releases blocked energy. Relaxation in turn encourages the body's own natural healing which helps to maintain a healthy balance. Additional Chinese Acupuncture points are included to enhance the treatments. Reflexology benefits many physical and emotional ailments and research shows that it particularly benefits stress related conditions. It can speed up the body's own natural healing process, improve circulation, release muscle tension and help with emotional disturbances. It flushes out toxins and builds resistance to disease. It can also help with headaches, bowel, sleep and energy problems and can be very beneficial during pregnancy. Indian Head Massage Indian Head Massage is an ancient traditional therapy originating from India and has been practised for over 4,000 years. It is a very powerful therapeutic massage where pressure is applied to points on the scalp, neck, shoulders, arms and face. Stimulation encourages lymphatic drainage which helps remove toxins, improves circulation and boost the immune system. It can help with headaches, sinus problems, eye-strain, insomnia, stress and muscular tension. It also promotes healthy organs, increases productivity and creativity and improves the complexion. This is an extremely enjoyable and deeply invigorating treatment.
Swedish Full Body Massage

When he was injured in the elbows, he reportedly cured himself using tapping (percussion) strokes around the affected area. He later developed the technique currently known as Swedish Massage. It involves the use of hands, forearms or elbows and knuckles to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles to improve mental and physical health. Swedish Massage stimulates the circulation, which induces mental and physical relaxation, decreases stress and muscle tension, reduces aches and pains, and improves range of motion. It also helps remove toxins, and it can help improve digestion and muscle tone. It can also benefit sufferers of asthma, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic and acute pain syndromes, headaches and athletic injuries; as well as speeding up healing from injury and illness and improving lymphatic drainage. Physical benefits: It can help loosen tight muscles, relieve cramps and muscle spasms, decrease muscle fatigue, loosen joints, improve range of motion, increase muscle strength, calm the nervous system, stimulate blood circulation, and firm up muscle and skin tone. Seated Acupressure Massage Modern day Seated Acupressure (also known as On-Site or Chair Massage), is a hybrid of an ancient Oriental massage called Anma and Shiatsu. It is a meridian based therapy in which thumb, finger elbow and knuckle pressure is used over many of the acupressure points accessible on the back, arms, hands, neck, head and legs. This technique helps to stimulate and balance the flow of chi-energy or life force throughout the body. In turn, this stimulates the circulatory, muscular, nervous, immune and lymphatic systems and promotes the release of endorphins and mood-regulating neurotransmitters. This leaves the client feeling relaxed but energised, and in a clearly focused frame of mind.
